Tessa qualified from The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies in 2012 and moved from Scotland to join Three Rivers Vets at the beginning of 2013. She became a Clinical Director in 2019. She loves all aspects of her job but her particular interests lie in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, especially stifle surgery. She enjoys being able to follow her patient’s progress and support owners to give their pets the very best care. She completed a post graduate certificate in small animal surgery in 2021. She has always valued the friendly family atmosphere at Three Rivers and the progressive attitude of the practice which allows her team to continue developing new skills.
Outside of work, she will often be found in wellies and a woolly hat exploring the Norfolk countryside with her two dogs, Tweed a German Wirehaired Pointer and Cody, a Brittany. She also owns and flies two peregrine falcons called Ruby and Sable.
