Microchipping is an effective tool in reuniting lost pets with their owners. At Three Rivers Veterinary Group we strongly recommend all pets are microchipped. If a pet with a microchip is lost and passes through a rescue centre or a veterinary practice it will be scanned, the chip number found and then reunited with the owner.
This is only effective if owners keep their contact details up to date. Make sure your pet is not at risk - and ensure you keep your contact details up to date.
